We get very busy at peek pick-up and drop-off times (Before/After work hours and lunch time) and you may experience a wait during this time.

Yes. All of our indoor play yards have large doors that open up to spacious outdoor yards. The bay doors stay open for your dog to go out side whenever they want. However, during extreme weather (heat, rain, cold…) we periodically shut the bay doors to ensure the safety of your beloved pet.

All dogs must be spayed/neutered and be current on all vaccinations to include Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies and pass a ‘Dreamer’s Interview’. The ‘Dreamer’s Interview’ is a behavioral assessment of your dog. It gives our staff a chance to get to know your dog, and for your dog to get to know us. Also, there is no need to contact your vet to get any health records. We will take care of all that for you. Simply schedule your ‘Dreamer’s Interview’ to get started. There are no exceptions to these rules as they are in place for the health, safety, and well being of all our clients and staff.

This a behavioral assessment of your dog. Before being allowed to participate in any daycare or boarding activity all dogs must pass a “Dreamer’s Interview.” This gives our staff the chance to see how your dog acts in a daycare environment and gives your dog a chance to get used to his or her new surroundings. Plus, you get a free day of daycare out of it!

We highly recommend that you make reservations well in advance to avoid disappointment and added stress. Remember, just like any hotel, A Dog’s Dream has its busy times – especially around major holidays, spring break and summer months!

To ensure we provide the safest environment possible, we highly recommend that you make reservations in advance for daycare. We have a lot of pups that want to come in and play each day, to make sure your pup is ready to go, calling ahead can avoid any stress and make your daycare drop off and pick up hassle free!

Yes. We like every dog to go through the same interview process so that we have our own record of every dog that comes into our care. Our staff wants to know as much as possible about every dog so that we can care for the dogs as best we can. If your pet has previously gone to a daycare or boarding facility that requires an evaluation, please let us know so we may contact them for a reference to make your reservation process faster and simpler.

A Dog’s Dream offers a social environment for dogs. We do not allow aggressive dogs as it can be stressful for the pet. The dog should be able to socialize with other dogs of similar size or temperament. All dogs are required to pass the Dreamer’s Interview beforehand to make sure they can interact safely with others. Our staff does their best to ensure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and safe.

You can bring any items from home that will make your pet feel comfortable with a few exceptions; no rawhides, animal hooves, ears, etc. While pets are resting, we periodically walk around but we cannot always monitor them with their treats. We do provide blankets, beds, and bowls. As space during a holiday can be limited, if they must bring food for a long stay, please bring a sealed container marked with your pets name.

Of course we welcome all puppies that have their Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations complete and up to date. We will accept unaltered puppies up to 6 months of age. All pets must be spayed or neutered after 6 months of age in order to return for daycare or boarding unless recommended otherwise by your veterinarian and approved by A Dog’s Dream.

We have 3 play yards that we use for the pets. We have two yards that are covered by our cameras. We move around a lot to ensure the safety of your pet, so the animals tend to follow us and therefore, they may be near the gates and edges of the fences where the cameras do not catch everything.

We allow the pets to take “nap” breaks on their own. Pets are very active in short bursts and they will let us know they are tired by lying down and napping. It is the same as if you were running sprints all day and wanted to rest up before going back to playing with all of their friends.

Just like children’s sleepovers in a new place, dogs can feel uneasy staying in a place they are not familiar with. Bringing your pet once or twice for daycare can help to ease any stress when boarding for the first time at A Dog’s Dream

In addition to our trained and experienced staff on hand at all times, A Dog’s Dream is in close contact with local Veterinarians as well as our on call Veterinarian. Depending on the illness or injury, we will always make every effort to provide the quickest and safest care possible for your pet and transport them to the veterinarian if necessary.

We are more than happy to administer your dog’s basic medication at no cost with our Gold Cloud Package. Dog’s boarding on the Silver Cloud Package will require an additional charge. Any prescribed medication requiring a veterinarian or doctor to administer will need to be done by your vet. Please bring a supply of the medication along with the prescription bottle with the original veterinary directions for our staff. Once you explain your dog’s medication needs we will decide if we can administer the medication to your dog.
